It\u2019s time for another House Price Index, our monthly report where we compile data from the HM Land Registry to give you a depiction of how house prices are changing over time.<\/p>
February\u2019s data has just been released, here are the highlights:<\/p>
The average price of a property in the UK was<\/p>

The monthly price change for a property in the UK was<\/p>
UK house prices increased by 10.9% in the year to February 2022, up from 10.2% in January 2022. On a non-seasonally adjusted basis, average house prices in the UK increased by 0.5% between January and February 2022, up from a decrease of 0.04% during the same period a year earlier (January and February 2021).<\/p>
House price growth was strongest in Wales where prices increased by 14.2% in the year to February 2022. The lowest annual growth was in London, where prices increased by 8% in the year to February 2022.<\/p>
