Black & White Bridging has recently completed two loans for one client, which happens quite often, as part of their lending journey.

The client, based in Wales, is an experienced property developer with an extensive portfolio, and they were looking to make use of the truly transparent bridging solutions available in order to further leverage existing assets.

Part one of this loan was to refinance an existing commercial unit to unlock funds that could be put towards part two, which was the purchase of a former primary school, which in turn is likely to be sold with planning permission granted.

The project was introduced to Black & White Bridging by broker Michael Clapper of Black Book Finance. Michael said: ‘As an introducing broker, on two complicated transactions that needed to be completed on the same day, the service received from the Black & White team was professional, friendly, assertive, flexible, and effective. Highly recommended!’.

The lending Manager for this deal Jess Caton said: ‘These transactions represented a great opportunity to aid the client in acquiring a former school by raising funds on an additional asset of theirs. Despite being a complex transaction to complete in the timeframe provided, we were able to work with both the borrower and broker in order to deliver.’
